It is with great sadness we share with you the passing of Ken McLaughlin

For 15 plus years Ken has been apart of the Orillia Canada Day committee in various positions as well as one of the longest running Board members. On December 12, 2022 he passed away peacefully at his home. Ken will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and his Orillia Canada Day family.

One of our most well known volunteers gone to soon

For many years Chris Bellchambers was a volunteer for Orillia Canada Day. He was there for setup, takedown and for any job in between. He passed away on Sunday June 20, 2021. He was greatly missed in our first post lockdown celebrations last year. We dedicated the 2022’s fireworks in his name.
